Coastal Metalsmiths Collective is pleased to announce A Show of New Work in Metals & Mixed Media at Daunis Fine Jewelry on view Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. September 2nd through November 2nd.
Attend the opening reception during the First Friday Art Walk from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. September 4th and get a taste of the diverse and dynamic work being made in the Metalsmithing & Jewelry field from Biddeford to Portland to New Gloucester, Maine.
While you are there, tour member Patty Daunis’ art jewelry workshop and browse the 2000+ page international book project The Compendium Finale of Contemporary Jewelers featuring several members’ work.
Started a little over one year ago by Maine College of Art alumna Holly Gooch, who desired continued contact with fellow graduates as well as a connection with the greater Metalsmithing & Jewelry community, Coastal Metalsmiths Collective is a melting pot of everything and anything in the field.
