J. Fred Woell said this. He didn't know it, but he was speaking about me as well. My work is about process and design. It can be humorous, sometimes whimsical or curious. I challenge myself by combining elements that, together, don't necessarily make sense. My jewelry is intended to be just that, jewelry: wearable personal adornment. The joy of ideas, wherever they come from, and the realization of them: the making is most important to me. I need to make. It is my pleasure and I want to share that pleasure with the viewer/wearer.
